According to friends, Audrey’s only ‘flaw’ was that she smoked (if you can call that a flaw, considering everyone from Audrey’s time smoked anyway), sometimes up to 2-3 packs a day, particularly when she was under stress. The filming of My Fair Lady and the Nun’s Story were particularly bad for her. Her favourite brand of cigarettes? English Gold Flakes - but as they were taken off the market due to their high tar content, she switched to Kent.
